Like the use of case studies throughout the text which illustrate the points beautifully.
Would have liked more emphasis on language development, however the book was very informative.
Various chapters from this book will be recommended reading for some taught sessions of the Communication, Language and Literacy module. Chapter 8 on supporting writing will be used extensively.
a really good supporting text for the course for those with a creative interest in teaching
